Philippines fast food etiquette is different than the US where we throw away our own trash after we're done eating. Here in PH people leave their trays and trash on the table and workers come by and clean it up.

This adds some delay for guests who are looking for a table and creates extra work for staff.

One of my first jobs was working at Taco Bell and I remember the strong aversion I would feel toward guests who left their food and trays on the table after they were done. Trash receptacles were next to the door so as they were exiting it was very easy for them to throw their waste out.
