They make their way down the river and eventually the barrels are gathered by a small village that night. Bilbo makes it to shore, stealing some supplies from the inhabitants and sleeping until morning. He's sneezing and feeling cold from his time in the water. The next morning the barrels are roped together by the raft-elves and pushed along the river which Bilbo joins again.
