Bilbo frees Thorin from his barrel and he rolls out in pain and bruised. After some time he helps Bilbo free the other dwarves. Fili and Kili were inside apple barrels and come out complaining of the smell, saying they could eat anything at the moment except any apples.

The group makes their way to the settlement nearby and ask to be taken to the Master of the town. The guards question them and Thorin explains he's the son of a king.
